Abdominal- Sit Up on Swiss Ball

Benefits: Works the entire abdominal musculature, and the medicine ball adds an element of difficulty by requiring you to lift additional weight.
Starting Position: Lay with the small of your back on a Swiss Ball with feet planted on the floor, holding onto a medicine ball with arms straight in front of you, pointing towards the ceiling.
Movement: While drawing your belly button in towards your spine, contract your abdominals while curling your torso up towards the ceiling and reaching your medicine ball up at the same time. Slowly lower yourself back to starting position, forcing your abdominals to work on the way down as well.
