Adobo Tuna Recipe

Great Caribbean recipe. Works best with fresh yellow fin tuna. Source: Cooking Light, 08/97

Ingredients
  • 1/3 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lb fresh tuna
  • 1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 Cooking spray
  • 4 slices fresh lime

Directions: Combine first 5 ingredients in a shallow dish; add fish, turning to coat. Cover and marinate in refrigerator 1 hour, turning fish occasionally. Preheat broiler. Remove fish from dish, discarding marinade. Brush oil over fish; sprinkle with pepper. Place fish on broiler pan coated with cooking spray. Broil for 4 minutes or until medium rare (less if you prefer rare). Do not turn. Garnish with lime slices.
