Chocolate Chip Pecan Cookie Recipe

Chocolate Chip Pecan Cookies

Ingredients
  • 2 1/2 cups unbleached all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped

Directions: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Melt butter in a large glass bowl. Set aside to cool slightly (approx 5 minutes). Mix all dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Add eggs and vanilla to melted butter and mix well. Add to dry ingredients and mix well. Place dough on cookie sheets by large tablespoonfuls. Flatten to ¼ inch. Bake 9-12 minutes, until brown.
